| Three Josephines and on leather bracelet. |
I've been brushing up on my jewelry making skills lately and this weekend I put them into high gear. I've been trying to use up some of the materials in my stash to make room for newer ones (of course)! I used mostly Czec glass beads, semi-precious beads and bead chips combined with silver and gold plated findings. I made a bunch of earrings, some bracelets and several necklaces.
I also made another leather Josephine. This makes three so far. The handle for this one is wrapped in blue leather cord, very pretty. I also made a two-toned leather bracelet.
The purpose of all this practice is to hone my skills and to begin building up some stock to sell. I have someone locally interested in one of my Josephines. Once he has made his selection, I'll advertise at least one of the remaining ones on Etsy. I really enjoy making these and have ordered some more leather as I expect these will sell reasonably well.
If you are interested in purchasing anything I've made, keep an eye out on Etsy in the coming weeks. My shop, the Purple Rose Boutique is located at http://www.etsy.com/shop/PurpleRoseBoutique
